Sorry, I have to reply here because [link] banned me from his pages and [link] That is why I have to reply here:
This may or may not be, but he informed me that he 'chose composition and trying to make an interesting pose over realism. The end.' So he really didn't put any thought into it at all, which is why it looks wrong. I though that if he actually just got rid of the bow string all together that it might fix it, but the left hand would still be above the right hand shoulder and the string would still hit the right forearm.
